As part of the project’s progression, the Project Team is seeking input from the public regarding the Proposed Options. This is an opportunity to share valuable insights, highlight any relevant constraints, and identify opportunities or key features that may influence the design and development of the Preferred Option.
To facilitate community engagement, Kerry County Council will host a public information event at Cahersiveen Library (Market St, Cahersiveen) on Thursday, 17th October 2024, from 3 pm to 8 pm. At this event, members of the Project Team will be available to discuss the project, review the Proposed Options, and outline the next steps.
For those unable to attend in person, an online consultation will be available on the Kerry County Council Consultations Portal starting Thursday, 17th October 2024, and running until Friday, 15th November 2024. The portal can be accessed at: South Kerry Greenway Proposed Route Options – Cahersiveen to Reenard.
During the consultation period, the Public Consultation Brochure, Questionnaire, and Proposed Options drawings will be displayed at the following locations:
- Kerry County Council, Cahersiveen Area Office, Market St, Cahersiveen
- Kerry County Council, Roads and Transportation Department, Room 115, County Buildings, Rathass, Tralee
- Kerry National Roads Office, The Island Centre, Castleisland, Co. Kerry
Submissions can be made online via the feedback form on the Kerry County Council Consultations Portal or by mailing the completed Public Consultation Questionnaire to the Kerry National Roads Office. All submissions must be received by Friday, 15th November 2024.
