Users of the Boyne Valley to Lakelands Greenway are being advised of a temporary closure on a section of the route to allow for important surface improvement works.

The affected stretch runs between Wilkinstown and Gibbstown, and will be closed daily from Monday, 30th March to Wednesday, 1st April, between 8:00am and 5:00pm.

These works are aimed at upgrading the surface quality, which should ultimately provide a smoother and more enjoyable experience for walkers and cyclists using this popular route.

While the closure may cause short-term disruption, it’s a positive sign of continued investment in one of Ireland’s growing greenway networks.
