The first phase of the Dublin Port Tolka Estuary Greenway, completed in 2024, stretches from the boundary of the Port at Eastpoint Business Park to the terminals of Irish Ferries and Stena Line. This project was made possible through a collaboration between the Dublin Port Heritage & Special Projects and Capital Projects teams, alongside partners such as Darmody Architecture, ROD Consulting Engineers, Austen Associates Landscapes, Cundall, Wills Brothers Ltd, and TTT, Storyline, and Bright. The initiative also gained valuable support from the Clontarf community.

Looking ahead, the second section, set to be finished by 2026, will extend the route to the easternmost tip of Dublin Port, where visitors can enjoy a new 800-metre linear park. This Greenway also connects with Fáilte Ireland’s Dublin Coastal Trail, which spans from Skerries in the north to Killiney in the south, showcasing Dublin’s captivating coastline. As part of this scenic trail, the Greenway offers an exciting new attraction for both tourists and locals eager to explore the city’s waterfront gems.
